One of my favorite song is "The Star Spangled Banner," this is because it shows the pride of our country.



I love the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. This is because it shows, how in a way enemies can get along, which countries could do to have a peaceful world.

A person Thomas Jefferson might like to meet would be, John Hanson. This would be because he was the first president.

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness--That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such Principles and and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. . . ."

This was put into the Declaration by Thomas Jefferson because of it's importance. It describes how everyone should be equal and have these rights. As in how all men are equal, and they have the rights of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
